D’Alenbert System
A system that is used to add a unit for a losing bet and then take one away for a winning bet.
Deal
Giving out the cards to the players.
Dealer
Also called the Banker this is the person who deals.
Deuce
A two rolled in dice.
Die
One of two dice.
Dime
A chip worth $10.
Dime Bet
A bet of $1000.
Discard Tray
Where the cards are put after they have been played.
Dollar Bet
A bet of $100.
Don’t Come Bet
The same as a Don’t Pass bet in Craps except it is placed after the first roll.
Don’t Come Line
The area of the Craps table where a Don’t Come bet is placed.
Don’t Pass Bet
A bet that is used in Craps betting that a 7 will be rolled before the point is repeated. Placed before the first Come Out Roll.
Don’t Pass Line
The area of the table where a Don’t Pass Bet is placed.
Double Down
An option that gives players one card to beat the dealer when playing Blackjack. Should the player’s hand win then he will win double.
Double Up
The Martingale system where you bet twice as much as you lost to try to regain your losses.
Down Card
A card placed face down.
Down to the Felt
Out of money.
Draw
To ask for a card in Poker to complete a hand.
Drop
Money that is lost when playing.
Drop Box
The box used for chips, money and markers
