Carousel
A circle is formed by slots around a change person who changes paper money.

Carpet Joint
A term for a luxury casino.

Case Money
Also called Emergency money.

Cashier’s Cage
Where the cash desk is in a casino and you can collect your winnings.

Casino Advantage
The house edge the casino has over players.

Casino Rate
A hotel room that is offered to players at a casino at a discount.

Catch
When a number has been drawn in Keno.

Change Colour
Exchange of a one colour denomination chip for another coloured chip.

Chase
When you bet again to try to win back what you have lost.

Check
In Poker this is what you do when you play without making a bet. It is also another name for a chip.

Chemin de Fer
Excellent game that you play with 6 or 8 decks and requires skill.

Chips
The discs that represent the value of money that you wish to play or bet with.

Chip Tray
This is the dealer’s tray that holds the chips.

Coat Tail
To bet the same as someone who is winning at the table.

Cold
A losing streak.

Color Up
Exchange smaller denomination chips for larger ones.

Combination Way Ticket
When playing Keno this is a ticket betting numbers in different ways to maximize the winning potential.

Comps
Comps are the freebies that are given by the casino.

Come Bet
A bet that is placed in Craps on the Come Line.

Come Line
Where the Come Bet is placed on the table in Craps.

Come Out Roll
The shooter’s first roll which establishes the point in craps.

Copy
In Pai Gow Poker a push is when the dealer and player have the same 2 or 5 card hand but the dealer wins.

Counting Cards
