The racetrack is essentially the advanced component of roulette. The bets tend to be more expensive and choosing a call bet is like spread-betting on multiple numbers.
For newer players, the basic bets often provide a greater deal of flexibility. This is because they limit your exposure by ensuring you only ever have one or two chips on the table.
Some call bets can put as many as 12 chips on different numbers!
With the randomness of online roulette as well, the outcome of each spin is completely random.
In casino roulette, call bets were popular as smart players would often get a bead on a croupier who would roll the same numbers. They would use call bets to take advantage of this.
