Basic Blackjack Terms
The great thing about Blackjack is that the Rules are virtually the same when you play either in a casino or on a computer. There are some basic rules that every one should know before playing to ensure you are not throwing your money away. There are a small number of terms that you should know such as
Blackjack – This is a 21 and the best possible hand.
Natural – 21 in your first two cards such as an Ace and a Queen.
Shoe – the device that gives you your cards during a game. There can be anything from 1 deck to 8 decks in it at any one time.
Dealer – the person you are playing against and trying to beat.

Soft hand – when you are dealt an Ace in your first two cards.
