Keno is a very popular form of lottery or bingo game that has been played for centuries. The game has a wonderful history that dates back to the Han Dynasty in China. General Cheung Leung devised a game that would help fund his army. The original game contained 120 characters and became popular very quickly. Such was the success that money from it helped build the Great Wall of China. The game was exported with Chinese migrants and by the 19th Century had been slimmed down to use the numbers 1-80. This is how it all began and now it is available to play at Spin Palace.
With so much history and the fact that I like a game of bingo I chose to play Keno. One good thing is that it is a welcome break from the faster games and I could relax and choose my numbers quietly.
The aim is to choose up to 15 numbers and then they are matched with the numbers that are randomly selected by the computer. I chose 15 numbers and based them on my friends and families birthdays. Not the best strategy but it was a bit of fun. The screen makes it easy to do by just clicking on the number you want. It then goes into the column and you then place your bet and play. Of the balls that appeared I had matched three numbers. Not a great deal but a nice start. The more numbers you match the higher the payout.
Conclusion
Although I didn’t use a betting strategy that worked I did have a lot of fun. The screen is well laid out and the sounds and color effects make for enhanced playability. This was a game that I could play at my own pace and relax while playing.
