The game is definitely designed with functionality in mind as are all the table games. The first screen gives me a choice of betting option tables. I select my option and the table appears. The colours are clear and bright and the female dealer voice is clear and the only other sounds are of the dice rolling.

I do like how Betfair have held back on extra superfluous sounds and instead have focused on game play. The table has all the options and as i move my pointer around the table over the various betting options they appear. There is a prompt box that appears if you get a little over zealous and try to play before the bets are placed correctly.

Looking over the table there is the uniform layout that is the format on all the games. The shortcut to the main menu is located in the top left corner and my balance and bet is displayed on the bottom left. There are roll and place across buttons in the bottom center and my chip sector is on the bottom right.

The information bar on the bottom definitely comes in handy with this play as I move the pointer and decide which bets to place. There is a brief instruction note also on the bottom right of the screen. In the top center there is a rollover box that gives me a breakdown of the table limits and the payouts.

As with all the Betfair games these tables are designed for the serious player, if you are looking for a game that entertains you with graphics and sounds then you will be disappointed. For me however it is as the game should be, a serious table for serious players and for those who get the biggest kick out of actually playing the game.
